Holidays for Calculating Box Office on Extended Weekends
Trading in Box Office Contracts will be active on the Cantor Exchange every day (7 days per week). Trading will not stop for weekends or holidays.
The calculation of box office receipts typically runs through the fourth weekend after the underlying film goes into wide release in theaters. That weekend is considered to end on Sunday night for most weekends, but if the following Monday is a holiday, then the weekend is considered to end on Monday night. In this case, the box office receipts for Monday are included in the film's total for the purpose of calculating the Final Settlement price.
